Absolar
After more than a decade of hitting the decks, Daniel Vos aka “Absolar” decided to learn the arts of electronic music production. After years of listening, curating and digging through lots of techno music, Absolar felt it was time to start contributing and making a mark on the market. Back then, COVID-19 just landed, so it was the perfect opportunity to focus on the studio. After releasing a few tracks on his personal label Stimular Recordings, several releases have been distributed under different techno labels, amongst Basse-cour and DzB Recordings. Absolar does not commit to one direction of music, but rather chooses exploration as his weapon of choice. It was never his intention to bring the same set of familiar sounds together, but rather search for a new combination of traditional sounds that have not been explored yet. In the past decades the industry has created so much quality sounds, but the possible combinations of these sounds are endless, and remain mostly unexplored. The techno scene is something very personal for Absolar. Even after 17 years of playing as a DJ, there is absolutely no urge to retire from the scene. To him, it is a community of love, sharing and emotions. There is no feeling more powerful than the feeling of connecting with people on a rave through listening and dancing to good music.
